The VANDA Conference will take place at the New Institute Building (NIG, 4th floor) of the University of Vienna.

University of Vienna
The University of Vienna was founded by Duke Rudolph IV in 1365 and is the oldest university in the German-speaking world. With its lang and rich history, the University of Vienna has developed into one of the largest universities in Europe, and also one of the most renowned. lt is associated with 21 Nobel prize winners and has been the academic harne to many scholars of historical as weil as of academic importance.
New Institute Building
In 1962 the so-called New Institute Building (NIG) was the first large university building to be constructed in Austria since the end of the Second World War. On nine fioors with a total of 21,500m2 the 16 (mainly) humanities institutes of the large Philosophical Faculty were grouped around a central atrium.
Technical lnfrastructure
All NIG session rooms will be equipped with a Windows PC, a beamer, a webcam, and microphones. Onsite presenters cannot use their own laptops but can bring a memory stick, online presenters can connect via the respective workshop Zoom link.

We want VANDA to be a conference where everyone feels welcome, supported and able to participate fully. Our venue is wheelchair accessible, and a dedicated accessibility team will be available throughout the conference to provide assistance whenever needed.
